Earth Science Chapter Review: Grade 5

This lesson is an Earth Science Chapter Review intended for grad 5 and meets NJCCCS: 5.1.8.A.1 (Science 2009). The student will be able to identify and define key science terminology from Earth Science lessons on "The Changing Earth" (Earth's layers, plate techonics, forces that change Earth' surface, rocks and fossils). The student will be able to identify and explain the science concepts of convection currents, plate monements, wathering/erosion/deposition, and the rock cycle. The purpose is to have the student understand the concepts that Earth is composed of three layers, that the layers move, that forces are constantly changing the face of the Earth, that rocks and minerials reveal these changes, and that together all these processes are continually effecting their lives.
